Workshops tailored to meet your needs
Considering the linguistic, social, and pedagogical complexities involved in language education, we have developed a variety of professional development workshops that can be adapted to meet the individual needs of any school or teaching context.
The objective of the workshops presented is to expose educators to current research in their fields of interest to provide them with theoretically grounded strategies and activities that can be immediately applied in their classrooms.
Participation in our workshops not only involves on-site facilitation, we supplement our professional development by engaging in follow up consultation with individual teachers (or groups) via web-based communication (e.g., workshop blogs, Skype conference, email, etc.). While the individual workshops on this website are designed to target specific areas of language education, we also offer custom workshops that can include features from multiple workshops.
