My husband Dr. Eric Johnson and I presented on language and cultural factors that affect and enhance language learning in the classroom. Our workshop highlighted the importance for teachers to build understanding on students' backgrounds and cultural differences to promote more effective teaching and learning in  classrooms with diverse learners. Check out some of the pictures of the event and our Powerpoint!
